A For Your Country Masculine Card Using the Camouflage Technique

Today I have for you another card I received in the technique swap.  This technique is the Camouflage Technique.  It's very easy to do, it just takes a little time.  A tip if you are going to try this technique.  Do the technique first and then work on the rest of the card.  The card stock needs to dry before you use it.  And I suppose you could always use your heat tool to dry it quicker too.
The technique can be found here.

I do not know who made this card.  Not everyone puts their names on the inside.  So if you know who it is, please let me know so I can give them credit.  (Edited 9-24-15: Juliann Knudsen made this card. Thank you Juliann for letting me know so I can give you the proper credit on your fabulous card!)

I like how well the "Expressions Natural Elements" wooden "Thanks" goes so well with the colors. I also like how these words have the burn marks on the edges from being created. I think that is why I like it so much.  Everything just seems to blend.

The star in the center is a piece of Early Espresso card stock.  It was set in place on top of a brad.  And then Linen was wound up and stuck on the oval using a glue dot.  The star appears to have a glue dot under it too.

The base of this card is Sahara Sand.  On top of that is a piece of trimmed Early Espresso.  The boots were stamped on Very Vanilla and then cut out with the oval Thinlits.  It's a very nice card and I LOVE how the camouflage turned out.

This is a great technique for a guy with a fall birthday too!

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda

Hi Wanda - I actually made this card. I usually include my name but must have missed this one. Thanks for posting. It is a very neat technique and works well with this military stamp set.
