A You've Got This Greeting Card

One of the things I like most about the "You've Got This" stamp set is that it is very versatile.  I did not add any words to this card because it can be used for several occasions.  There's Mother's Day, Thinking of You, Birthdays, Thank you, Get Well, and even a Sympathy card.

I colored the flower in using Wisteria Wonder and a blender pen. The center of the flower is Daffodil Delight and the petals and stem are colored in using Wild Wasabi.

The base of this card is Whisper White.  A layer of Basic Black was set on top of it and a layer of Wisteria Wonder on top of that.  I added a piece of Wisteria Wonder decorative paper to the bottom of the Wisteria Wonder card stock.  I added a ribbon before attaching it to the Basic Black layer.

After I colored in the flower I used the oval Framelits die and cut it out.  Normally I stamp the flower, cut it out, and then color it. I don't know why. It doesn't really matter.  Though when you think of it, stamping the image, coloring and then cutting would be better.  If you cut it out and ruined it during the coloring then you wasted a step!!!  Such methodical thinking just to make a card!!! LOL

Anyway, I had also cut out a larger oval using Basic Black and layered it behind the flower piece.  And that was it.  There is some space under the flower petals on the right to use some words from the "Teeny Tiny Wishes" set.  You may want to do that before you assemble the card.  And you can always stamp the words separate, cut or punch them out and add them to the card.  And of course, you can always just leave it blank!! I like the looks of this card and I did have fun making it.  I think it's because I'm still in the mood to color!!!

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
