Hexagon Hive Papillon Potpourri and Another Thank You Plus a Tested Technique

Okay, today I gave that dryer sheet technique another try.  You do need four of the dryer sheets and then fold them in half.  That is where I went wrong yesterday.  SO today I folded the four dryer sheets in half to have eight layers.  I ran my black card stock through the Big Shot using the Hexagon Hive die and you normally would. Then I set the die, with the paper all stuck to it, on top of the dryer sheets and ran it all through the Big Shot again.  I removed the die and all of the card stock was stuck to the dryer sheet.  I picked up the corner of the card stock and it all came off in one piece, and clean too!  Not one hexagon stuck to the piece.  Amazing.  And how nice it makes using these dies now, especially the ones with intricate details.

The words are from the "Another Thank you" set.  I stamped them using StazOn.  I tried the Memento ink pad and it seemed to put a lot of the fuzz from the pad on the image.

I used the "Papillon Potpourri" set.  I liked this butterfly.  I stamped it using the Memento ink and then I colored it in using the Blendabilities markers.

Oh, and the background paper behind the hive is from the in colors decorative paper pack.

Using the dryer sheet technique, I can say that this card was easy to do and I am now thrilled to use those dies!!!

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda

Very lovely card...haven't tried this technique, but have used the dryer sheet to wipe the die before cutting and it worked very well, but, the dryer sheet leaves residue behind, so it need to be cleaned before putting it away.

I have also used waxed paper and it works very well as well.

Thank You for sharing and I am making this card and in all my favorite colors.
