A Simply Sketched Birthday

I thought I would play with some fun things I have sitting around here.  I ran across my polka dot decorative paper and my fun seam binding ribbon.  I wanted to make a simple card.  This one did turn out simple and also a bright and cheery card too.

I added a piece of embossed card stock to the folded half sheet of Whisper White card stock.  I tied a ribbon around the decorative paper strip and then taped that piece in place on top of the card base.

The words are from the "Simply Sketched" set and were stamped using black StazOn.  I punched it out with the large oval punch and then I punched a piece of Daffodil Delight card stock using the scalloped oval punch.  I taped the two pieces together and then set it in place using Dimensonals.  It doesn't get much simpler than that!

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda

I love this! Yellow is my favorite color...What is the name of the embossing folder you used here?

I don't remember the name of the embossing folder. It's now retired.
