A Summer Silhouettes Birthday

I'm on a roll here.  I remembered where I saw this card!  It was such a pretty and simple looking card but it just called out to me.  I found the original card here on Pinterest.

I used the "Summer Silhouettes" set to make this card.  I also used Pacific Point ink and paper.  I think the original one was done using Pool Party ink and paper.

Before I stamped the images on my card stock I practiced on some scrap paper.  I wanted to make sure I got the flowers just on top of the stems or whatever those things are called!  LOL

The words are from the "Teeny Tiny Wishes" set. The original card was a thank you card.  I didn't need any of those at the moment.  I am trying to fill up my birthday calendar reminder book so I'm set for the year.  Now don't be jealous.  Having all the birthday cards you need for the year is one thing.  Getting them mailed out on time is another!  LOL

This was a super easy and very fun card to make.  I can see myself making more for birthdays and even a thank you if I need one. It would also be a sweet sympathy card.

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda

A very simple, but elegant, card here, Wanda. I love flowers of any sort. Yes, it does look easy and quick. Thanks for sharing this.
