Thanks a Million Card

Ok, today is a new day and a new post.  I'm going to post early so I make sure I know what I'm doing on here.  There's so much change for me here.  I am using a lap top to do this, which is not in my comfort zone. Blogger is now laid out different for those of us posting to it.  I had to download my pictures in a different way because my computer is broken.  I am not use to this keyboard.  I'm not use to this much change at one time!  I did get my photo orientate before I put it in the file I download from.  And here I am, trying to pretend I know what I'm doing here!!

Let's move onto my card.  The background is Pacific Point.  A beautiful color and one I don't se very often.  I found a card on the net and wanted to copy it.  Upon a closer look at I noticed that the card was put together differently than I thought it was.  I went with what I thought I first saw.  The stamp set used her is Fabulous Florettes.  There is decorative paper to go with this set but I didn't have any so I just stamped the flower image all over a piece of card stock and cut it to fit.  This technique is called "One Sheet Wonder."  The decorative paper had some green in it but I didn't want to color in the background so I left it white.  I saw the original card at "A Stamp Above"  The words there were stamped and then punched out using a round circle punch.  I used the circle punch but I punched out the background piece.  I stamped the words on a piece of card stock and then set it in place behind the punched piece.  The flower layer is set on top of the embossed layer.  The flower was stamped, cut out and colored with Pacific Point and a blender pen.

It was an easy card to make and very fun too!  Now to get it addressd and ready for Monday morning's mail!

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
