Mixed Bunch Birthday Card

I honestly don't know the name of this decorative paper.  Perhaps it's because I don't own it!! It is very pretty though.  I am SO loving this Pool Party color and the decorative paper is so pretty with this card.

This card is a bit deceiving too.  The Birthday wishes, from the Sincere Salutations set is stamped and then punched out and taped to the inside of the card.  The oval on the outside is punched out to match the word oval. I was told by one of the gals at the Stamp A Stack (SAS) to put both pieces of card stock together, line up the words and punch them both.  Then the words are suppose to fit in the oval better.  Well, needless to say I didn't follow her directions when I got to that part of the card and it's obvious that my words didn't fit well in the oval.  I wasn't sure I wanted to try to punch two layers of card stock at the SAS on a punch that wasn't mine.  I think it turned out just fine and no one will really notice it's a hair off!

The flower was stamped (from the Mixed Bunch set) and punched out.  The layers were taped together and the ribbon tied on.  The flower was set in place using a Dimensional.  And a pearl was placed in the middle and the card was done!!!  It was a quick and simple card with a perfect touch of cuteness.  Terri is SO good at designing her cards for the SAS and my sister and I look forward to going to it in May!!  I'm sure my sister will insist we place yet another order too!!!  She's breaking my wallet!!! LOL

I thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
