Flower Fancy Birthday Card

Here we have another set I don't use very often and I don't know why.  The "Flower Fancy" set is a very pretty one.  Maybe it's just that I have too many sets to choose from???  I saw this card on Deb's "Artfelt Impressions" site and just had to make it.  After all, I did have all the "stuff" to make this card!  It was such a pretty card and it stuck in my head for a few days and I just decided to make it and get it off my mind.

It was a very easy card to make too.  There are some subtle differences.  I used Whisper White card stock and the original was done with something else.  And the wording is different too.  Deb's card read "for you from me."  I am not sure what set that came from.  I needed a birthday card so I used the "Sincere Salutations" set on my card.  My words were added in the upper left and her wording was added on the left just above the scalloped edge.  Both ways look great.  I just thought I'd put them at the top since the top looked so empty to me.  Perhaps because I didn't have the flower stamped high enough?  Not too sure but I like the way it turned out.

This was a very fun card to make and it went together so quickly too.  The flower needed to be cut out and set on a Dimensional and I think that was the part of the card that took the longest.  Cutting out pieces always seems to take a bit of time.  All in all I am pleased with the way it turned out!  I've got a jump on my April birthday cards.  There's a lot of birthdays coming up next month!!!

And I even thought that this would make a fun notebook too!  Without the "Happy Birthday" of course.  I may have to try another one and make a notebook out of it, it was easy and quick enough to make!

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
