Scallop Punch Ladybug

Isn't this just the cutest idea for a card?  And what a great use of punches!!  Autumn designed this card and it's just TOO cute!!!

The ladybug is done using two red scalloped circles.  When I made mine I stamped on both sides of the scalloped circle.  We had a brand new pencil and used the eraser as our rubber stamp.  Then the circles were folded in half.  I set mine aside and placed the head piece where I wanted it on the card, being sure to leave enough room for the antennas.  And the ends of the antenna were stamped with the eraser to.  I did stamp them first before adding the lines with a marker.  Next I taped the back side of one of the folded scalloped circles and centered it on a bit of the circle that was for the head.  The head circle is made from a 1" punch. Then I taped the other folded circle on making sure the fold lines matched up.  The words were added and then the card was layered on Real Red and Basic Black card stock.  Done!!!  As simple as that! Isn't it just adorable???  Cute as a (lady)bug!!!

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
