Candy Cane Christmas Decorative Paper Pixi Stix Holder Weekend Project

Today I have for you a fun little project. It's a perfect way to stretch out that bag of candy and make fun gifts for a lot of people! I was going to type "kids" but even the bigger kids like Pixie Stix!!! This would also be a fun Make n Take or even a great Stamp Camp project.

Wanna know how to make this?? Of course you do! Read on and I'll tell you!

Take a piece of card stock (mine design was printed out on Whisper White card stock) and cut it 7-3/16" x 4-3/4". On the short side score the card stock at 3/8", 3/4", 2-5/8", 3" and 4-7/8".

On the long side score at 3/8". Turn and score at 3/8" on the other end. Looking at the ends you will see a tiny square in each corner. Cut it away. Clip the other score lines on the short side up to the score lines. You will only be clipping into the card stock 3/8". These are the flaps for the bottom and top of the box.

Fold all the score lines. Make a window in the box now if you wish to have one in your box. Add your window sheet now if you want that on your box too. Tape or glue the long side flap, I used glue because I knew it wouldn't come lose like tape might.

Next glue one end of the box shut. Fold in the small flaps first and then the two long ones.

Fill the box with the Pixie Stix and glue the other flaps. Decorate the box as desired. It's now ready for gift giving!! It's a fun and easy little project with very little cutting.

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
